Return to Blended In-Person Learning
Schedule Begins Monday, January 11th
On Monday, January 11th Peru Elementary Schools transitioned back to our A/B blended in-person learning schedule for the remainder of the Second Trimester. Thank you to everyone who completed the Parent Survey regarding Third Trimester. We will be making a decision soon regarding any schedule changes, and we will notify all families well in advance of February 22nd, the start of the trimester. The option to switch to full remote from our current blended schedule is always available to families if you so choose, but you must notify your child's school office to make those changes. - The Illinois Department of Public Health recently updated their Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Schools document. This comprehensive plan outlines procedures which districts must follow when working with students and staff who contract or may have been exposed to COVID-19. It also addresses many other topics including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Contact Tracing, COVID Testing, as well as other pertinent topics. I encourage you to review this document so you are aware of the directives we will continue to follow as a school district.
