Northview Welcomes New Assistant Principal

Emily Leffelman

Peru Elementary School District 124 is pleased to announce that Emily Leffelman will be joining our team as the Assistant Principal at Northview beginning with the 2026–27 school year. Emily joins us from LaMoille, where she currently serves as the principal. She brings 17 years of experience in education and a strong background in instructional leadership.

Emily has been actively involved in professional and community organizations. She is the 2025 recipient of the Illinois Principals Association Starved Rock Region Reaching Out and Building Bridges Award and is a member of the Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA) Starved Rock Region. Earlier in her career, she also served as Vice President of the LaMoille Federation of Teachers Union.

Emily is committed to supporting students, staff, and families while fostering a positive and collaborative school culture.
